Generating Growth Opportunities & productivity for Women Enterprises (GROW) Project

The project aims at empowering Ugandan Women Entrepreneurs . Together with the World Bank, the project facilitates women in business to help them advance to another level.

The US $ 217 million (about UGX900billion) five-year GROW Project skills women engaged in business before allocating them grants and credit after a screening to be done by the Uganda Private Sector Foundation. The curriculum development and training modules for the women entrepreneurs among other activities are being conducted at Makerere University Business School.

The Grow project is a Government of Uganda project funded by the World Bank
